The ride to this city is not an easy one as you have to travel through unpaved muddy roads where even a 4 x 4 off roader gets stuck and then on foot for 2 days through one of the toughest treks in your life. The best month to visit this place is in the month of December and March. You will quickly learn to be Indiana Jones while trekking the many rivers and forests of this city. This one is for all you dare devils who have taken the plunge from a plane for the thrill of experiencing gravity at its best. Skydiving itself may look like the ultimate adventurous thing to do, but what if it could be upped a notch in the level of fun and trill? This is what exactly skydiving over Everest does.
You will be thrown off a plane from 29,000 feet and will be falling down breathing in an supplementary oxygen tank to finally land on the highest peak in the world where the temperatures are below freezing. Skydiving from a plane onto the top of the many peaks of the Everest is recommended for skydivers who are also experienced mountain climbers, since after you land on the top of the mountain, you will have to make your way down the treacherous mountain. The first skydiving program over the Himalayas was in 2008 and another is being planned for 2010. This is the most fabulous skydiving experience in the world and one of the most outrageous sports to be played on these magnificent mountains.

This year only 25 climbing permits have been given to climbers who are visiting this place despite of the recession that has stopped other climbers from coming here. The sponsorship money is not precipitating g as well as last year and many climbers have avoided coming this year. But still many climbers have made it to this part of the world and some have already begun their accent to the top of the mountain. Ones to be noted among these climbers is the female climber Gerlinde who is planning to become the first female to climb all the 8000 meter peaks of this range, only K2 left in her list now.
An Italian team is on its way to clean up the mountain with two new expeditions to K2 and the Baltoro Valley. They will head out to camps and bring down the trash that is left back by the other climbers.
