We have been talking about the inimitable Everest 2010 for quite some weeks now. This is quite understandable given the fact that there is nothing quite like the experience of conquering the Majestic Mount Everest. And when you have someone who is on row for his 20th summit climb, you can imagine the excitements as well as all the lovely expectations that you as well as others who have been waiting for it. Now Apa Sherpa has left his home in Utah to make his way to Everest 2010 which means that the Everest 2010 season officially begins now. We had speculated that this would start in April, but the fact that Apa is on his way to the mountain that he loves to conquer so much is indication that the Everest 2010 season has officially taken off. And this is great news for adventure lovers everywhere.

Apa Sherpa does not want Everest 2010 to be just a matter of personal laurels. This year he is highlighting the cause of education and economic progress of his home country of Nepal, which is one of the poorest countries on the planet. This is what social responsibility along with personal excellence and ambition is all about.
