The North Pole is going to be quite crowded this year, if one is to go by reports of quite a few teams preparing to get there. There are quite a few of these teams already posted in Canada, and its just that these teams came face to face with a terrible blizzard that seems to be wrecking plans all around. There are quite a few people who are backlogged to get on to planes to reach the small town that leads to the North Pole. For one, there is 20 year old Tessum Weber, who hopes to be the youngest person ever to reach the Geographic North Pole. He will be traveling with polar legend Richard Weber.

Then you have explorers from Britain, Dan Darley and Amelia Russell, who have parked themselves at Resolute Bay for over a week now. The blizzard is the only thing that is keeping them from being on their way. They are expected to get along on their expedition soon enough. Australian couple team of Linda Beilharz and Rob Rigota also are waiting to catch the flight to Resolute Bay. They too are closely watching the satellite pictures to make a note of any improvements in the all impulsive and inclement weather.
