Ride by cyclist for Haiti
You may be aware of the fact that there was a terrible earthquake in Haiti in the beginning of 2010 that wrecked havoc and led to many deaths in this impoverished nation. Others have been many efforts made to ensure that relief and rescue operations at Haiti get the best in terms of suitable aid and help monetarily and financially. This is why Cole Starkey, a long distance cyclist has set out on a cycle ride to bring attention to the plight of survivors and the need to help out the victims of the vagaries of nature. This is a ride that would span as much as 3,000 miles. One hopes that he would do well and get a lot of money to help out those in dire need.
Cole has decided to ride across 3000 miles on the Atlantic Cots of the US, right from Pennsylvania due to Florida. After that he would go along the west to Louisiana and finally east to New Orleans. This is no mean task or small change as it’s a ride spanning such a huge distance. This will take almost one month to be over and you can also check out Cole’s blogs as he has been blogging on the go.
