Now this was something that was just waiting to be attempted. People want to go faster, stronger and higher on everything and why should good old Mount Everest be exempt to the test of human endurance and grit? Chad Kellogg has decided that he wants to attempt a speed ascent of Everest and the target set is to get up on the summit of the highest mountain on our planet in less than 30 hours. If this were not enough, the attempt would be without Sherpas and also with additional oxygen, which is actually quite a double or triple whammy if you may. Some people certainly do not believe in making things easy for themselves as they push themselves to the very limits of human tolerance.

Chad Kellogg wants to attempt this feet from the South Side of the mount and he is currently in Nepal, looking to scout out the route and get himself ready for attempting this daring and supremely challenging attempt. He is likely to spend as many as one and a half months preparing him and could start up his way on this feat only in Mid-may. This has evoked a lot of for and against responses from many people so you can watch out for a lot of partisan views on this.
